Disco, funk, soul, and cetera with your pal Jesse Conrad, DJ JJC

Today we've started with the first album from the band Chicago, released when they were still called The Chicago Transit Authority. As you might expect, it's a sometimes funky, sometimes rockin' mix of, well, rock and funk. I would call it 'classic rock,' but that probably gives a better idea of my age than of the actual kind of rock you're in for. Anyway, The Chicago Transit Authority's self-titled debut double album, gatefold, GP 8 on Columbia, VG/VG, $4.
